A fresh take on a matcha latte with creamy vanilla protein and a layer of sweet strawberry puree.
Serves 1.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 scoop Welle Essentials Plant Based Protein in Vanilla
- ¼ cup frozen strawberries
- Ice
Method
- Heat frozen strawberries in the microwave until softened, then blend for a quick strawberry puree. Add to your glass and top with ice.
- In the same blender, combine coconut milk and vanilla protein powder. Blitz until smooth (it’s fine if a little strawberry is still in there). Pour over the ice.
- In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with a splash of warm water using the Welle Mixed Electric Mixer until frothy. Pour on top of the protein milk layer.
